WIRED PRODUCTIONS – MARTHA IS DEAD TRADITIONAL PUPPETS
The wonderfully creative team at Wired Productions came to us looking for ideas to promote the delightfully dark Martha is Dead. As the game features a puppet show, naturally we thought of the iconic Pelham Puppets. Not to be deterred by the fact that Pelham stopped making puppets in 1993 we tracked down one of the very original puppet makers, David Leech, who continues to keep the brand alive, and takes on the odd custom project! We worked hand in hand with David to create a limited set of traditional hand made puppets. The very limited run of Martha and Giulia are hand made and painted, and are entirely unique pieces. They’re also a little bit menacing – and as you can see – Giulia is a little camera shy!
