In 2016 A2D were incredibly excited to be asked by Gamestop to collaborate on a project for EA Sports – to create the first, and only officially licensed EA Sports FIFA Jersey. We have since gone on to produce the jersey yearly for each new game release and have introduced additional kits, such as the Away shirt design, Icons, and complete childrens kits along the way too!

We project manage each step of the process – from reserving production space (to ensure available capacity), liaising with the designers at EA regarding how to supply their artwork (all under very strict NDA), discussing and advising the correct material for the job, organising pre-production samples for approval, keeping on top of all appropriate testing requirements, advising on best packaging options, collating quantities (by size breakdown and by territory) and finally overseeing delivery to territories worldwide (with all the commercial invoices and logistics that that entails!).

Our remit on this project extends well beyond the bounds of Jersey production. Over the years we have organised photo shoots of the kits, and have even organised the production of a number of GameStop teaser trailers, which involved not only scouting out the venue but also securing the freestyle footie players to take the starring roles!

It’s been our privilege and pleasure to work on this project for the past 4 years. Here’s, we hope, to many more!
